You temporarily closed the doors (except perhaps for telehealth) OR you are open, but with significantly reduced case count. When you reopen, how do you plan to keep your patients, staff and yourself safe? How do you make your patients comfortable enough to resume coming to your practice? As your caseload ramps back up, you won’t get paid for the visits for weeks to months – how do you manage your cashflow to make sure your practice survives, and even thrives on the other side?
We have a checklist which summarizes a lot of great ideas in one place (courtesy of MGMA, the Medical Group Management Association). This is an excellent starting point, but every practice is unique and nothing substitutes for doing a pro-forma activity/financial plan for your practice. We are happy to help with such a plan, pro-bono.
